Random Questions:

1)If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

I love where I live currently in north central Florida. The combination of scenery, weather, and people makes it ideal for me, but I would love living in Italy. I visited once and fell in love.

2)If you became a billionaire over night, what would be the first thing you would buy?

First, would be a full tank of gas to get me to Tallahassee to pick up my check. Secondly, I would buy plane tickets. My family and I would disappear for a while and travel.

3)Do you have a garden?

Ignoring the fact that I have the blackest thumb amongst the entire human race, I am still determined to make something grow and actually live past a sprout. Currently, I have green beans (they make it to a vine of about eight inches and then wither and die), eggplant (still waiting on those to flower...fingers crossed), and tomatoes (planted two months ago and they are only a quarter of an inch high).

4)Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?

Yes, when I was one. I came in second. My mother pacifies me by saying that they were looking for the typical blond Florida girl. Darn my brunette-tism. Turns out the blond that won happened to be a friend of mine in high school. It explained why she had baby pictures of me in her house. Creepy...defined.

5)Do you sing in the shower?

Unfortunately, yes. I do believe I'm the next American Idol when I have the wonderful acoustics of my tiled shower. I'm sure my neighbors disagree.

CULTURE SHOCK is a witty tale of mystery and romance with a large helping of southern hospitality.

Macy Holmes is a seventeen-year-old socially-isolated introvert since her best friend's death a year ago. When her family decides to move from Manhattan to the quaint country town of Bougainvillea, Florida, Macy finds she's in a completely different world. Macy is no longer the outsider hiding behind designer clothes when she is sought out by three strange students, one of whom she is particularly interested in. The more time she spends with Chad the more things don't add up. When his true identity is finally revealed, Macy is pulled into a supernatural society with its saturation of inhabitants residing in Bougainvillea.

You would think she has enough on her plate, but no, then her dreams become infiltrated by an external magical force, Macy and her band of supernatural misfits must find the culprit behind the magic-induced nightmares. They must dodge zombie assassins, shifty shape-shifters and high school bullies in order to stop this perpetrator before Macy, her friends or her parents pay the ultimate price. Especially when Macy has the sneaking suspicion that these dreams are reality...
